The Summer of No Attachments by Lori Foster

The Summer of No Attachments

by Lori Foster

 ★★★★★

When you start off absolutely certain what

direction you want to take with your life.....

Ivey and Hope are great friends. Both are certain

they know where they want their life to go.

But then, we often forget that our life may have

other plans. Life and love can alter every plan,

every idea, every life design you ever had.

The Summer of No Attachments is a story that flows

easily with life transition. The characters that Lori Foster

creates in this story are in constant evolution. Just like

everyone in life. They are forgiving, determined,

generous and full of faults.

It is a joyful story. Reminding us that we have to

allow happiness to come to us. We cannot always

fight it off or stick with unhappiness because that

seems easier. Sometimes, we must flow with it.

Her Royal Payne by Shana Galen - Kindle edition

Her Royal Payne

by Shana Galen

★★★★★

Her Royal Payne is the next chapter in the

Survivors Series by Shana Galen. Rowden Payne

has written his own lifes path as he wanted to live it.

"Some of them had bet against him of course,

but most of them were smart enough to bet

against the German. Rowden wasn't known

as The Royal Payne for nothing."

As things had gone for him, he knew he would

never marry again. But of course, no historical,

romance writer worth her salt could let that stand.

Rowden had the German on the ropes.

"Even as his mind screamed, 'No!, his head turned

to glance...."

Of course, he should not have turned his head.

The most beautiful eyes of hazel were staring

back at him.

And this is how a beautiful love story begins.

I have enjoyed every chapter so far of the

Survivors Series. Have you ever heard the saying,

"Every story you have ever read was written

with the same 25 letters."

So how can every story in this series be completely

its own? But Shana Galen manages that. She

writes these characters that you feel close to.

You feel like you know them. They are imperfect

and honorable. I hope you will find your way to

The Survivors. You do not need to start from the

beginning of the series. Each hero, each heroine

have their own stories. And they are all

wonderful stories.

The Answer Man - Movie Review

Movie Review

I am a big fan of Lauren Graham. Of course,
beginning with The Gilmore Girls. So there was no
way I could pass up with this movie. I found it on
Amazon Prime Video.

The trailer will pretty much explain the story.
But it really doesn't show you all the other
terrific characters.

Then there is the story. Much deeper and
much better than the trailer shows. The
summer time weather has settled in here.
So it's always nice to find such a good
show to watch in the comfort of my
own living room.
