Good Luck With That by Kristan Higgins - audio version

Good Luck With That

audio version

When you start reading Good Luck With That, you might
imagine its going to be a book to teach you a lesson.
You know, the books with moral lessons and let me tell
you how to live your life. If you only listen to  me, I will
fix your dreadful life right up. We all know those books.
Frankly, I am sick to death of being told I am doing
it all wrong. Not a good enough wife, mother, woman,
human, friend, American, etc.....

But I guess, anyone that knows anything about
Kristan Higgins should know she would not write
a book like that!
Good Luck with That is far more about friends helping
friends to love each other and themselves.
Its very different from telling others they are doing
it all wrong. Emerson, Georgia and Marley are the
best of friends. The friends that love each other
through it all. No judgement.
I think that might be my favorite thing about
Kristan Higgins. She does not judge.

I highly recommend all Kristan Higgins books.
But her womans fiction is out of this world.
I bought my copy from Audible.com

Who We Were Before by Leah Mercer

Who We Were Before
by Leah Mercer

This is my first time reading Leah Mercer.
While there is plenty of romance in this story,
I don't know if I would call it a romance.
Its really more of a life story. The life of
Zoe and Edward. The life of their relationship.
The life of their family. From the first minute
the two of them meet as she sits knitting
a pair of bright pink socks on a bench til
their return to that bench years later.
On their return, they now have memories
and stories. They each have so much to
learn about the other.

Even though they have been together for
years. There is so much they don't know
about each other.
Who We Were Before was written in a very
interesting way. Easy to keep up as their
lives unfold. Together.
Give it a try. It is well written. You may find
that you don't want to put it down.

I got the copy of Who We Were Before from
Amazon Kindle First Selections.
