Me Before You / After You / Still Me by Jojo Moyes - Audible Version

Me Before You

After You

 Still Me

by Jojo Moyes

Audible Version

☆☆☆☆☆

I had seen the movie. It was wonderful.

I loved it. Now, a friend highly suggested

the series. My library had all three stories.

The audible versions. I dived it.

The first one, Me Before You, was very much

like the movie. Which means it was great.

I never have any trouble seeing characters

faces in my head as I read or listen to stories.

But this time, they were already there.

I could not wait to move onto the second

installment, After You. I wasn't sure with the

beginning. But very shortly, I could see it all in my

head. Louisa and her life as she moved on.

Then, in the third book, she has moved on.

Well, sort of.

Louisa stays true to herself.

And once you get to know her, you will recognize

that she is every woman. Her family and her life.

It's the story of all of us.

The narration is terrific. Jojo Moyes is a

terrific storyteller. I will move onto

more from her.

Chasing Cassandra by Lisa Kleypas - Audio version

Chasing Cassandra
Audio Version
★★★★★
Chasing Cassandra is book 6 of the
6 book series called The Ravenels.
Lady Cassandra has watched friends and
her sister all get married. Happily.
Cassandra hoped for the love match.
Instead, she has faced it. She knows
her duty. She will do her duty.
Marry an appropriate man and go on
in that marriage as most women do.

Tom Severin is the wealthiest of men.
He has brought his life from the worst
to the best. Financially, anyway.
In order to accomplish it all, he has had
to close up his heart and his feelings.
He allows himself 5 feelings. No more.
But then, he knows it is time.
Time for him to find a wife and begin a family.
Now, Severin has set himself on Cassandra.
She will be a wonderful wife and mother.
She is beauty personified. She is all that
is kind and generous. And for some reason,
she seems to be attracted to Severin. When
he asks Cassandra to wed, she refuses.
Tom has confessed that he would never
fall in love with his wife. Cassandra cannot
marry without at least a chance to fall
in love. They both want to marry. But
neither can get what they think they
most want from marriage.
One thing and another brings them back to
each other. Until finally, they decide to find
a way they both can get what they want.
Compromise. One of the corner stones of
a successful marriage. It is one thing the
two of them agree on.

I bought my copy from Audible.
