Review of The Highlander's Christmas Lassie - by Anna Campbell

Anna Campbell’s The Highlander’s Christmas Lassie is a heartfelt, romantic tale which will warm your heart!

Malcom Innes is the heart and soul of this story. Sweethearts Malcom and Rhona Macleod were separated by Malcom’s powerful father when Rhona learned she was carrying Malcom’s child. Malcom has devoted the past 18 years searching them. He scoured the Scottish Highlands, combed the streets of London and spent a year in America looking for his family.

Anna Campbell has created a hero that drew me into this story immediately. I was captivated by the characters and their heartbreaking story. Malcom devoted his life to searching for his family as he believed in his heart that Rhona and is child were alive. He never married as Rhona held his heart. Malcom is the man every romance reader dreams about. Can you imagine a love so strong, so enduring?

Ms. Campbell’s descriptive voice lends itself perfectly to this deeply romantic, passionate story. She weaves the themes of passion, forgiveness, love and hope seamlessly throughout the novel. The characters conversations are poignant and honest. I loved that a tip from a friend has Malcom traveling during a snowstorm Christmas Eve. His determination and faith are a huge part of this superbly written Christmas romance.

I highly recommend The Highlander’s Christmas Lassie! It has all the feels-a devoted hero, heartfelt storyline and a love so strong that will make you believe in Christmas miracles.

Elli - A Second Chance Novel by tina desalvo

True love is not scared away.

Elli - A Second Chance Novel by tina desalvo

"Ben, are you sure you understand what you get with me?"

The thing is, Elli still doesn't get that she is not just a cancer survivor.

There so much more to her.

Ben knows it.

Of course, Ben has his own issues. They both start out in desperate places with their lives out of control. It was a forced meeting. And they each had closed up their hearts. No interest. But of course, love.....

What a great story.

I really enjoyed the fun, the crazy characters and the location, (it is set in New Orleans at Mardi Gras). Who doesn't love NOLA?

Dogs, gators, mystery, drama, crazy family, friends and belly laughs, make this a quirky wonderful read.

Really great development of characters throughout the whole story.

I enjoyed Elli, I learned to like Ben, and I loved Joey. The story made me want to have Tante Izzy and her whole crew living in my neighborhood. More laughs, more fun, and more books by Tina DeSalvo.

It's a really lovely, quirky love story.

All proceeds of the sale of Elli are donated to the fight against breast cancer.
