Slightly Wicked by Mary Balogh

Slightly Wicked

Book Two of the
Bedwyn Saga

This series is a long held favorite of mine. I have
reread it many times. But I have never written a
review before. Slightly Wicked is my favorite of
the series. Though, I love them all.
This one is Rannulfs story. He is carefree and happy,
making the trip to visit his Grandmother.
How the smallest choices and chances can change
your life so dramatically....
He meets Claire Campbell along the way.
She is a confident, talented and beautiful actress.
Rannulf and Claire find themselves stuck in a hotel
due to bad weather and a broken axel.
What is there to do?? Two single, worldly and
slightly wicked adults find ways to fill the time.
The weather clears and it's time for everyones
journey to continue. Claire leaves without so much as
a ''see you later". Rannulf decides she must have had
her reasons for leaving that way.
As you might have guessed, Rannulf and Claire do
meet up again. But neither of them is prepared
when it happens.
The Bedwyn family is the star of this series.
The whole family. They are each very different
individuals. And yet, they are a very close family.
I am sure each story can stand alone. Though
I have never read them as such.
Each is a wonderful story and I hope you
will enjoy the Bedwyn Saga.

My copy of this story has been signed
by the amazing Mary Balogh.
As such, it is a great treasure of mine.

Slightly Scandalous by Mary Balogh

Book Three of the Bedwyn Saga

Have you ever heard the saying,
"I mean to start as I will go on."
That is exactly how this story begins.
Freyja's story starts with her bold and brave
personality. She immediately meets up with
Joshua Moore, Marquess of Hallmere.
The two of them are more than slightly scandalous
Freyja has no idea who he is or about his title.
Same as he does not believe that she could
possibly be the sister of the Duke of Bewcastle.

When two very stubborn people meet up,
this is what happens.
Freyja and Joshua each come with their own
baggage and uncertainties. They also come with
tough outer shells.

Are either of them brave enough to admit what
they want? Either strong enough to hang on as
the other breaks down their own guard?
If they both can find a way to get through,
they could find a wonderful future waiting
on the other side. But it will take courage
and vulnerability from each of them.

It takes an amazing writer to tell this story.
And to find the perfect match for Freyja.
Mary Balogh must have dug deep to pull
this book together.

I have owned this book for years.

Slightly Married by Mary Balogh

Slightly Married
by Mary Balogh

Book One of the Bedwyn Saga
Aidans Story
5 Stars
★★★★★
Lord Aidan Bedwyn was raised in a loving family.
With siblings galore. While it was an active wonderful
childhood, they were also taught honor, loyalty and
to do your duty. So when one of Colonel Bedwyns
soldiers makes a request on his death bed, Aidan knows
he must follow through with it.
The death bed request takes him to Ringwood Manor.
The home of Eve Morris. When Aidan arrives, he finds
her with a family she has created for herself.
Including children, a dog and a group of people that
he calls her lame ducks.
Mary Balogh writes a story in which
the romance grows slowly. You will meet and
get to know the rest of the Bedwyn family.
I fell in love with the flow of the story.
Eve is no silly country miss. She is capable and
determined. So she does not make it easy on
Colonel Aidan Bedwyn. But then, he does nothing
the easy way himself. What exactly does it mean
It's a true love story. With a long happy ending.
And I can't wait to get onto the next one.
I bought my copy of this story a long time ago.
